Parent Organization (HCPPO)
The HCPPO works to support our school and create a sense of community. As a member of the HCPPO, you can stay informed about upcoming events and volunteer opportunities. Together, we work to provide:
-
Scholarships for seniors
-
Honor Roll Celebrations for students
-
Welcome Back BBQ for HCP families
-
Staff appreciation and support
-
Supplemental support for student organizations
Membership dues are only $5 per family per year (payable by cash or check). Membership forms are available to download and print below, in the HCP main office, and at many school events.
Meetings are held the second Monday of each month at 6pm in the HCP Library. Our first meeting of the year will be Monday, August 14. Join us!
There are several opportunities throughout the year to volunteer:
Uniform Closet Sale, August 7, 3 to 7pm
Each August, the HCPPO hosts a sale of gently used HCP uniforms that have been washed and mended.
Welcome Back BBQ, August 25, 7 to 9pm
Bring the family! Catch up with old friends and make new ones at this annual back-to-school event.
Teacher appreciation breakfasts … and more!
Sign up to bring tasty treats for our monthly breakfasts or make a financial contribution to help support our teacher appreciation programs.

Parent Workdays + Volunteer Hours
PARENT WORKDAYS
Join us one Saturday morning each month for Parent Workday! Meet other parents and help with projects that keep our building and grounds in shape for our staff and students.
Our first Parent Workday of the year will be Saturday, August 12, 9AM-12PM
PARENT VOLUNTEER HOURS
One of the tenets we value most in our schools is parental involvement. Research shows the more involved parents are in their child's school, the higher their child’s academic achievement. When you volunteer or make a donation, please let us know by submitting the Parent Volunteer Form at the button below.
-
25 parent hours per year are HIGHLY encouraged.
-
1 parent hour is earned per $20 spent on donated items.
-
Parent workday participation earns DOUBLE parent hours for outside work.
-
If you have a talent/service you can provide the school, please contact the principal.
Example: You make desserts for the teacher appreciation breakfast. You spend $40 on supplies and 2 hours making the desserts. You would claim 4 parent hours.
