Why HICD?

The vision of Harding Independence Charter District is to prepare all graduates for success at any post-secondary educational institution through a college-preparatory environment.

We currently operate two public charter schools -- Harding Charter Preparatory High School and Independence Charter Middle School -- which combined serve nearly 1,000 diverse students in grades 5 - 12.

As a public charter school, our schools are FREE to attend and OPEN to all!

We cultivate a positive school culture by supporting collaboration and data-informed decision making through distributed leadership
